This tea was produced in 2017 in the homeland of Pu'er tea—Yunnan Province, China. The tea leaves are harvested from large arbor tea trees, some of which reach heights of up to 16 meters, with trunks measuring 90 centimeters in diameter. The young branches are covered with fine hairs, the buds bear white silky hairs, and the leaves are thin, leathery, and elliptical, thriving at an altitude of 1,200 meters.

In 2020, we transferred this batch of tea from Kunming, Yunnan, to Dongguan, Guangdong. Yunnan's climate provided ideal conditions for the tea's healthy early-stage transformation, while Guangdong's humid environment accelerated the aging process in its later stages. Together, these two distinct storage environments have imparted unique characteristics to the tea.
After 8 years of aging, the 2017 Golden Charm Raw Pu'er Tea Cake offers a rich yet smooth taste, highlighted by subtle floral and woody aromas woven into its mature fragrance. Highly durable to multiple infusions, it delivers a distinctive complexity with every cup.
Please note: The packaging of aged tea cakes may naturally develop creases or signs of wear over time. This is entirely normal and does not affect the tea's quality or flavor. Instead, these marks serve as a testament to the tea's storied journey through time. As Pu'er tea ages, it deepens in complexity, character, showcasing its truly unique charm.
