Our 2021 Aged Tangerine Pu-erh Tea, from Meijiang, Xinhui, is internationally known as Orange Pu-erh or Mandarin Pu-erh.
Meijiang is renowned for its premium dried tangerine peel (Chenpi), which is paired with rich Yunnan palace-grade ripe Pu-erh to craft a distinctive tea blend.
Aging & Aroma
Both the tangerine peel and Pu-erh develop more fragrance as they age. After four years of natural aging, this tea delivers:
- A full-bodied, smooth, and layered cup
- A balance of refreshing citrus notes from Xinhui tangerines
- The mellow sweetness of Yunnan Pu-erh
Over time, the flavors and aromas become even more complex and refined.
Storage Note
- Natural oils in the tangerine peel (Chenpi) may form a fine white frost on the surface
- This is not mold, but a sign of high-quality Chenpi
