This handcrafted Gongfu loose-leaf black tea originates from Tongmuguan in the Wuyi Mountains, Fujian Province, China. Grown at an altitude of 800–1,000 meters, the tea region lies within a pristine Central Asian subtropical forest ecosystem. Recognized as the birthplace of black tea, this region produces some of the finest and most flavorful black teas in the world.
Grown in a pesticide-free environment, this tea is hand-picked and carefully crafted using traditional Chinese tea-making techniques. The leaves are dried over local pine wood, imparting a distinctive smoky flavor with hints of pine aroma. With a glossy black appearance, the tea leaves are full-bodied, while the tea liquor is clear and bright red, offering a fresh, slightly sweet, smooth, and mellow taste.
Highly versatile, this tea can be enjoyed cold-brewed, used as a base for milk tea, or brewed using standard or gongfu tea methods.
