Tieguanyin (Ti Kuan Yin) takes its name from a legendary tale about a devout believer. Its authentic origin is Anxi County, located in the southeastern part of Fujian Province, where its cultivation and production date back to the 18th century. As one of the most renowned varieties of oolong tea, the name 'Tie Guan Yin' embodies the qualities of 'resilience and compassion,' reflecting both its rich cultural heritage and the spirit of its namesake.

Anxi Tieguanyin Oolong Tea – A famous Chinese oolong from Anxi with floral aroma, smooth body, and lingering sweetness. Crafted using traditional techniques, it’s ideal for Gongfu brewing and oolong tea lovers seeking an elegant, authentic experience.

According to legend, a humble farmer named Wei discovered an abandoned temple housing a statue of the Bodhisattva Guanyin. Despite his poverty, he faithfully cleaned the temple and offered incense on a regular basis. One night, Guanyin appeared to him in a dream and guided him to a hidden cave where a rare tea plant grew. Wei carefully cultivated the plant, which yielded tea leaves with an extraordinary aroma and rich flavor. In gratitude to the Bodhisattva, he named the tea 'Tieguanyin.' The word' 铁' (iron) symbolizes the tea's strength and robustness. At the same time, '观音' (Guanyin) refers to the Goddess of Mercy, reflecting the tea's power and spiritual inspiration.

Our Anxi Tieguanyin Oolong Tea is a light and fragrant variety, crafted with a short fermentation process and mild roasting. Renowned for its 'clear tea liquor and green leaves,' this tea unveils a delicate, orchid-like fragrance upon brewing. Its taste is exceptionally smooth and refreshing, leaving a lingering sweetness that captivates the palate. Rich in antioxidants, it aids digestion and boosts metabolism, offering the perfect harmony of flavor and health benefits.
