Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong Tea (Honey Orchid Aroma) - 2020 Roasted
Phoenix Oolong Tea
Mi Lan Xiang, meaning "Honey Orchid Aroma," is one of the most iconic and sought-after varieties of Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong. Through traditional charcoal roasting, this tea develops its signature fragrance—a captivating blend of rich honey and delicate orchid notes.
Our journey with this tea began at the 2020 Fenghuang Mountain Spring Tea Fair. There, we discovered an exceptional loose-leaf Dan Cong and had the privilege of meeting its artisan, Mr. Li Yousheng.
For generations, his family has tended a six-acre tea garden, preserving both the ancient tea trees and the time-honored techniques passed down through the years. Today, every member of the Li family plays a specific role, collectively nurturing the trees and crafting this exceptional tea.
With 39 years of experience, Mr. Li personally handles the most crucial stage of creation: charcoal roasting. It is in this transformative process that the tea's complex character is fully unlocked.
This Mi Lan Xiang is a heavily roasted oolong, carefully exposed to high heat.
This robust roasting technique lays the foundation for exceptional aging potential. Over time, the tea's bold fragrance matures into a rich, full-bodied taste that unfolds in layers across the palate.

The Terroir Speaks Through Every Leaf
Origin isn’t just a label — it’s the soul of the tea.
It is the land and the tea trees tended by generations of tea farmers, a living heritage passed down through time in harmony with nature.
Traditional craftsmanship cannot scale to mass production.
We honor this authentic essence, preserving every genuine step.
We could produce more tea, but we choose to craft better.
