Chinese Gaiwan with 'Landscape Painting' for Gong Fu Tea 5
1/6

This blue and white porcelain gaiwan, part of a kungfu tea set, is produced by the Huasheng Studio in Jingdezhen, China's famous "Porcelain Capital."

The origins of blue and white porcelain can be traced back to the Tang dynasty. It uses high-quality kaolin clay as the base material and is crafted through a complex process, including clay selection, shaping, painting, glazing, and firing.

The artist hand-paints landscapes on the gaiwan, combining distant mountains, nearby waters, and forest scenes, showcasing exceptional artistry and a reverence for nature.

This gaiwan is intricately made with a traditional structure. The lid can be suspended on the rim, adding fun to the tea-brewing experience.

Know Where Your Tea Comes From

Origin isn’t just a label — it’s the soul of the tea.

It is the land and the tea trees tended by generations of tea farmers, a living heritage passed down through time in harmony with nature.

Achieving Authenticity Through Tradition

Traditional craftsmanship cannot scale to mass production.

We honor this authentic essence, preserving every genuine step.
We could produce more tea, but we choose to craft better.
