Yangzhi The "Yangzhi Jade Pot," also known as Dehua kiln white porcelain, is a top-quality product among Chinese white porcelains. It originates from Dehua County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. The local porcelain clay is relatively soft, with low iron content and high potassium content, resulting in porcelain with a pure white glaze as lustrous as mutton-fat jade. Under sunlight, it appears semi-transparent, with a faint milky white and slightly pale beige hue, offering a warm and non-pallid texture.
This mutton-fat jade gong fu teapot has a comfortable feel and three-dimensional lines. Its petite and exquisite shape and spout are suitable for brewing Da Hong Pao, Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, ripe Pu-erh tea, and other finely twisted tea leaves. It pours smoothly, with a clean break of water, making the brewing process feel like handling a jade artifact, offering an extraordinary texture.
