This is a unique form of Puerh tea, compressed into small, round pearl shapes, commonly known as "Dragon Ball Tea." It is crafted from the leaves of Yunnan large-leaf tea trees (Camellia genus) and processed through traditional steps, including withering, fixation, rolling, and sun-drying.

This handcrafted, tightly rolled Puerh tea requires a brief steeping period during the first infusion, allowing the outer layer of leaves to gently unfurl. Compared to traditional tea cakes that require prying, the Dragon Ball form offers greater convenience for carrying and brewing, while better preserving the integrity and quality of the tea leaves.

Our 2023 Puerh Tea Dragon Pearl (Dragon Ball Tea) is sourced from the high-altitude Yiwu tea region in Yunnan Province, renowned for its pristine tea-growing conditions. Each hand-rolled Dragon Pearl weighs 8g (±0.5g), making it perfectly portioned for Gongfu tea brewing with a gaiwan.
