Fuding, located in Fujian Province, is the birthplace of one of China's three famous teas and is renowned for producing high-quality white tea. White tea is classified into four main types based on the tea tree variety and raw materials: Silver Needle, White Peony, Shoumei, and Gongmei. This tea belongs to the Bai Mu Dan (White Peony) category, made from tender tea buds and two young leaves, which resemble the petals of a peony, hence its name.
