Honey Orchid (Mi Lan Xiang) is one of the most iconic and aromatic varieties of Dan Cong Oolong tea, renowned for its distinctive honey and orchid fragrance.

Dan Cong Mi Lan Xiang Roasted Oolong Tea – A fragrant Phoenix Dan Cong with notes of honey and orchid. Roasted to enhance depth and smoothness, this tea is ideal for Gongfu brewing and those seeking a rich, floral Chinese oolong experience.

At the 2020 Fenghuang Mountain Spring Tea Fair, we unexpectedly came across this exceptional loose-leaf Dan Cong Oolong tea. We had the privilege of meeting its producer, Mr. Li Yousheng. His family has cultivated a 6-acre tea garden for generations, with the tea trees and traditional techniques passed down through the years. Today, the Li family works closely together, with each member dedicating themselves to specific roles to care for the tea trees and produce their exceptional tea.

With 39 years of experience in tea-making, Mr. Li personally oversees the most crucial step in the process—tea roasting. This essential step is key to unlocking the tea’s unique and unmatched flavors.

This Honey Orchid (Mi Lan Xiang) roasted oolong tea is infused with the rich essence of the mountains. It greets the palate with a bold, honey-like sweetness that is both refined and captivating. The aroma seamlessly intertwines with the fragrance of blooming orchids, achieving a perfect balance. The traditional charcoal roasting process lends a delicate, smoky undertone. At the same time, five years of aging have refined its texture and enhanced its complexity, making it even more layered and delightful.

Achieving Authenticity Through Tradition

We honor this authentic essence, preserving every genuine step.
We could produce more tea, but we choose to craft better.
