Xigui Village, situated in Bangdong Township, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, is located along the banks of the Lancang River, nestled against snow-capped mountains. This small village is home to over 60 tea-farming families who cultivate more than 400 mu (approximately 66 acres) of tea gardens. The tea region is dominated by Bangdong large-leaf tea trees, with an average age of around 200 years. Delicate leaves, Xigui tea leaves are thick and robust, producing a soft, sweet flavor. Among tea lovers, it has earned the nickname: "the look of a beggar but the spirit of a prince."

This 2009 Xigui Ancient Tree Puerh Tea Cake has been carefully stored and aged by the Chinese Tea Group since its harvest and processing in 2009. Each year, only a limited quantity is released, allowing the remaining tea cakes to continue aging and enhancing both their quality and value over time.

After 16 years of meticulous aging, this tea has developed a delicate character. Its liquor unfolds gracefully: the initial sip is gentle and sweet, the mid-palate reveals a subtle orchid aroma, and the finish lingers with a long-lasting sweetness. Mild in nature and exceptionally balanced, this tea is a rare treasure.

Please note that the packaging of aged tea cakes may naturally develop creases or signs of wear over time. This is entirely normal and does not affect the tea's quality or flavor. Instead, these marks serve as a testament to the tea's storied journey through time. As Puerh tea ages, it deepens in complexity, character, showcasing its truly unique charm.
